With Single Christian Connection, you can meet Single Christians just like you who believe in the principles that Jesus taught and want to incorporate them into everyday life. Not for dating but to develop Christian friendships with others that are at the same season of life.
Busting out of the stereotypical "Singles Ministry" within church walls, we will gather together for companionship and community building. Putting aside church memberships and denominational affiliations, we hope to provide a "virtual clubhouse" with the meet-up website where we all can connect and share events and classes or to organize new events for everyone in the group join in to broaden their horizons and social circles.
This group is for Single, Divorced and Widowed Christians in the Gwinnett, Walton, Rockdale and Barrow County area ages 25-55.
It's free! We invite you to help build a strong network of fun events and resources for all Single Christians on the Eastside of Atlanta.

Linda Fabre is not only is she the mother of two successful, adult children but she’s also the grandmother of three, whom she calls her “laboratory.”
Linda literally wrote the book on parenting, “Full Potential,” on sale at Amazon.com. And she’s been teaching at couples retreats and classes in other churches for 15 years with a message she got from a co-author of sorts with even more experience.
“God woke me up in the middle of the night and gave it to me,” she said. “People have responded to it, and that tells me it’s from God.”
She says guiding children’s behavior is a matter of laying the deal out for them in for the form of choices: clean your room and get a treat or don’t and do without when everyone else gets theirs. Too many parents try to dictate to their children instead of respecting them enough to let them make up their own minds. Most of our faulty parenting comes from our own upbringing, she said.

In Memory of Marty Daugherty of Peachtree City who passed away in a tragic death on December 31, 2009. He coached for the Peachtree City Rec. Dept. for over 11 years in baseball, basketball, football & soccer. He personified the meaning of the term "Coach", selflessly giving many hours to our community, and tirelessly teaching our kids. Marty was the kind of coach that would always have an encouraging word & a pointer to share, even when he was no longer their coach! Marty was a treasure in our community & we will miss his positive & unique brand of encouragement that he brought to our kids.
